Winjet LED strip problem

Got an issue and I think I need to reaffirm my problem solving skills here.

The behaviour of my Winjet DRL's are acting pretty funny. Let me give you a download of everything.

1/ First start of the day, all LEDs turn on. Occasionally, 3 of the leds turn off only on one side.
2/ Every time I turn it on after that, the same LEDs will turn on and off by itself, making it look like its a turn signal.
3/ This morning the same LEDs turned off, but when I switched on the high beams, they turned back on.

What I'm thinking of doing is...
1/ Swap my ballasts to see if the problem transfers as well
2/ ???
3/ I have no idea what else or how to test

Give it to me guys, anyone else encounter this kind of thing? I bought these second hand off my cousins boy, from NYC and I'm in Toronto, so I don't even know who to send them to.

Just keeping this thread updated with information, presumably for myself and anyone else with this problem.

Maybe this is related to an RPM dip problem listed in this thread? My DRL's also go out during a normal traffic stop and come right back on.

So tall have any aftermarket parts? especially an intake. I used to have the rph dip until I bought a OFT and tuned it to my intake, hasn't happened again since. As far as the headlights, yes switch them and see if the problem follows. If so, yes ballast is out. Could be the leds aren't screwed in all the way too hahah bouncing in and out

Thanks man, I tried the ballast swap and same problem. Thomas at fteightysix said that it shouldn't be related to the ballasts.

"The HID or ballast wont be the issue, it would be down to the DRL circuit, either the wiring, drl bar, or mod. most likely not the mod unless your back feeding into the whole circuit and your highbeam is always on.. thats about the only way that fails"

So I'm guessing that this is the bar? I think the only way to be able to test this theory out is to rip the headlight apart...

Never mind, all communication has stopped on Tony's end and the headlight was never shipped out. Need to find a new brand of headlights to spend my cash on.

I am having a similar issue. I got a pair, the passenger DRL never worked. I got a replacement sent from winjet, through ft86speedfactory. The replacement worked for about a month and a half, and now the LED in the pass light doesnt work anymore.

Did you ever fix yours? Find a solution? Thanks
