Please help I have a newbie question regarding suspension? Please help?

Quick question guys if yall dont mind answering for me since I'm new to the forums:

When I get my BRZ and decide to get these coilovers and drop it down to 35mm and get these 18x9.5 Rota Grid - Deep Red (5x100/e38/73) rims, what size tires would I need to get so nothing rubs? Would 225.40.18 all around work or would be rub? Thx in advance

Or

If I decided NOT to get Coilovers yet and just get the rims, what tire size would be best? And could I just put the tires and rims on without really doing anything else to it? Could I do 225.40.18 front and 255.35.18 rear? or 225.40.18 all around without rubbing?

Thanks in advance everybody!

Have patience!
You don't even have the car yet so not like you need the info this second.
You will get an answer I am sure (I would give you one but don't have a clue).

This is probably a better question for wheels/tires section. Or just search the forums because I will almost guarantee that this question has been asked and answered before.

Dude you asked at 10:45 ET last night, and some people sleep.

How did you choose those tires/wheel sizes? What are your goals for the car? Is a good handling car a priority for you or are you more interested in looks?

- Andy

Why did you post this question in 3-4 different sub-forums?

You posted in Wheeldude's Rota post (and got an answer), you posted in the wheels sub-forum (and got many answers), and you posted here. Where else did you ask this exact same question?

I'm more into looks than handling, I chose those wheels and wheel size because I saw someone with the similar setup and thats why I asked if I decided to get the 18x9.5 Rota Grid - Deep Red (5x100/e38/73) Rims with 225.40.18 front and 255.35.18 rear? Would that cause it to rub? Or could I get 255.35.18 all around?

I wouldn't run 225s on a 9.5 wide wheel.

I wouldnt run a 225 on a 9.5 wheel, like andy said. The sweet spot would probably be 245-255.

Koo then, I can run 255.35.18 with these coils ST Suspension Coils on all 4 wheels, how does a 35mm drop sound with those 255 all around? No rub right?

Or I could buy these coils: KW V3 Suspension Coils Same 35mm drop, no rub?

Cant say if it will rub since I dont have 255 wide tires, nor am I 35mm lower. Andy would be able to answer that.
