GT86 Headlight Bulb Size
My brother is in Japan and is gonna bring me home a pair of GT86 headlights. I just put HID in my OEM lights and from the looks of it, I don't think they are the same bulb as the GT86. Does anyone know what size the 86 uses? Also I know there was a guy on here that made the 6 pin to 8 pin harness, but I can't get a hold of him. Does anyone else know where I could get a pair of those?

From what I read its a d4s. If your installing that you're going to need the wiring and relay to fully convert.

Yea I saved the DIY and I've been going through other pages as well and ran into a post about someone who had made harnesses that are plug and play. Repinning it doesn't sound too hard, but being able to just plug a harness in would be a lot easier. Still haven't seen anything about a relay. |

The Japan GT86 OEM Xenon headlamps uses D4S as factory HID bulbs. Our customer chose to upgrade to the 5000k and 6000k D4 HID bulbs to get rid of the slight yellow tint found on the 4300k factory HID bulbs.
