Gauging interest on more Sykart meets - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I know we always have the first Thursday meet which is great. Something I've been noticing on here is a lot of people want to make it out but due to prior commitments/ work, can't on that Thursday. What I am suggesting is make one more meet at least at Sykart a month where everybody can get together to race and catch up. I'm always up to going there and if there are more nights for a meet, there will be more opportunities for those people to join. Any thoughts?

I'm down for anything after about 6 during the week.

It's a bit far for me being that I live in SE Portland, but that's usually less of an issue than the time, and day for me. Honestly I know traffic might cause issues, but it would be nice to meet up earlier (before it gets dark) so we can all see the cars, and hang out for a bit, and (for me) not have to drive back home too late.

I understand the dark, and cold won't be an issue come Summer, but that's been what has prevented me from having it be worth it to go out there, and Thursdays I typically have classes, etc that interfere.

So for me, personally having the meet be a little bit earlier, possibly mixing up the days of the week (or have it be during the weekend) would help me be able to make it out there, but I understand these have been going on for awhile now at the same time, and day, so don't change it simply on account of me - those are just my thoughts on it given my personal situation.

I'd be down for more sykart meets. Even though I live an hour away I've made it before. But j agree it would bring more opportunities for other people

I want to be clear, in no way am I saying to change the normal meet. Just more meets on different days would be good for others to join. I will see about posting a poll.

Just for everybodys info, Sykart on the weekends is the same price for everybody- $15 a race. Members only get discounts Mon-Fri. Just passing it along, don't know if that even matters to anybody.

Bump. Looks like Friday or Saturday are the more popular days. I will be going to Sykart in the next couple days anyways and I will see what days they have available. I'm going to try for the third friday or saturday of the month, that way its more in the middle of the month.
