I mounted [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Anker-Ultra-Slim-Wireless-Charging-Qi-Enabled/dp/B00HIZ3ZI4]this[/ame] Anker wireless charger about an inch away from the vent and fed a USB extension from the glove box charger to the empty spot next to the panel dimmer.

I put [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Sewell-Direct-AirStick-Microsuction-250mmx300mm/dp/B00ITX9OU2]AirStick[/ame] on top of the wireless charger so all I have to do is place my phone on it and it charges automatically. No bulky mounts.

I placed a similar module in my car back when I did this in the summer. I mounted mine underneath the compartment below the AC controls. My S4 fit perfect in there and the charger was able to reach it through the plastic of the compartment.

Wish I had pictures, my car is away in storage for the winter.

I've got an AirDock mounted in the CD slot for a similar solution - just stick my phone on the microsuction surface and it charges like a boss. Yours is definitely a bit cleaner than what I ended up with though.
