Timed Chirp (Squeak) - Every 30sec
A high pitch "squeak" coming from the pulley starting. (see video, the pulley on the right side)

It's hard to tell from these videos. Are you talking about this?
If yours happens even when the AC is off, then it's something else. |

Yup, the AC compressor is kicking on.
The air conditioning runs when in defrost mode to remove moisture from the air to keep your windows from fogging up. Totally normal. |

Just to update anyone else that might be concerned with the noise.
I was in for a tail light replacement, and as @strat61caster mentioned above---it is considered as normal operation. |
