Hey so I bought Spyder headlights too but they're accidentally the brz 8pin one. Is there anyway I can get them exchanged for the exact same ones but frs 6 pin? Or is there a way to convert it over?

Btw I love Spyder as well! I got the v2 tails and the the brake light and now hopefully I can keep my Spyder headlights if I can figure out a way to switch em or covert.

They're brand new just bought, shipped from spyder auto

Mine is a 10 series and it comes with 8 pin stock,so I actually have the brz lights on. Before I get the lights I did some research and I know you can get the 8 pin and 6 pin connector online. You may have to custom your own wires and pins to the correct layout, if there is none available online.

Please make sure you get/make a converter cable not modify the lights' harnesses or you may chips your warranty.

You can also email techsupport@spyderauto.com to check if you are eligible to do an exchange to the correct one. Note that the FRS CCFL version is currently out of stock and well be available again early next year.

I had the 86 headlights on originally and was gonna do the spyder lights just for SEMA, but after having it on and the halo is too nice to give up! Plus I really want to point out that our projector lens is far more clear than the stock one. I believe it's due to safety issue.

Anyways I hope you can enjoin the headlights upgrade asap!

It would be better if you can exchange the lights to the FRS version. because the Spyder BRZ lights has an opening at the bottom for the stock HID ballast(FRS version is sealed). If you don't have a stock/OEM HID ballast then your headlights won't be sealed from moisture.

I talked to our tech support just now, unfortunately do not carry those harness connectors separately. You should definitely contact the vender you purchased the lights from to get an exchange for the FRS one so you won't have condensation issue in the future.
