Condensation in Rear headlights

I noticed that my 2013 monogram FRS had condensation in both rear light units, so I took them to the dealership with picture proof. The dealership said that my VIN number wasnt covered under the TSB and that they cannot order new ones for me. Is this dealership correct that my car isnt covered or are they being sketchy?

Thanks guys

Sounds like BS to me. Regardless if it wasn't covered via VIN, it's not working as intended. Unless you have the new amphibious model FRS.

Yeah, the problem was when I brought it over to them the condensation dissipated. I did have picture of the problem on my phone, but I guess they didnt trust me

It sounds like they're saying that TSB voided your warranty... (Which doesn't make sense.)
How many miles does your car have? Less than 36k miles right? If so, then your car is still under warranty regardless of if there is TSB or not.

If it was there once, it will come back. You'll just have to get by the dealership before it dissipates. It came and went a couple of times on mine before I could get to my dealer with it still visible. Once they witnessed it for themselves, it was quickly looked after under warranty.

@MikeyBatz Dealership doesn't want to replace/repair anything unless they see it with their own eyes.. same logic works with my dealer. I had slight condensation, but it kept going away, coming back. Eventually moist will be trapped and there should be puddle of water inside the tail light. Then bring your car back to dealer. That's what I did, and they replaced with without any question.

Even after getting them replaced, same shit happened again. There's DIY on making your own gaskets. I picked up 2 foam sheets from Michaels, letter size. Cut it to actual size and replace factory gasket. Worked perfectly fine on mine, now I have to do for the other one soon.

I contacted my dealer right away when this happened to me and set up an appointment. The condensation went away before I got it in but the dealer replaced it no questions asked and didn't even want to see the pictures I had taken. I would try another dealer.

I'm about to make a new thread but before I do. Here's my issue the dealership said they wouldn't cover but my taillights that have water in them because I have been in a minor rear end collision. It was on my rear bumper and my taillights weren't effected. So my question is can my collision not cover my warranty. Especially something like my taillights which have nothing to do with my rear bumper?

The sheetmetal is all connected. You need to confirm there wasnt any deformation.
