10 Series Headlamps
so after 3.5 months of waiting on my car to be fixed from hitting a deer, toyota finally got the engine wire harness figured out but the idiots at the dealership try and screw me out of 10 series headlamps and order the standard frs headlamps, so now they had to order new ones cause the connectors didnt fit, anybody know where i can get the part numbers for the headlights, and No i dont have the car to look for it on the headlight itself.

It could have been an honest mistake. Not sure if 10 series VINs are any different from normal FR-S VINs. But then again, they could have been trying to cheap out as well. We will never know!

they had the car there, the car was brand new no mods and such, good thing the body shop owner said that he was only gonna do brand new factory parts for the car and not aftermarket, but ig we will find out tomorrow if they found the right part

Well even if they did try to cheap you out of it, and by some miracle, connected the stock headlights and gave you the car, you'd still just be able to take it back and get them to fix it right?
I mean, no reason to worry about getting screwed because you know exactly what to look for. On the other hand, it might just have been an honest mistake because 10 series headlights are a bitch to get your hands on and they probably just ordered the first headlights that came up in their system search for the FR-S. |

ya, its just agrivating that they cant get it right, ever since they started working on the car it has been delay after delay, wire harness was wrong twice, then delayed 2months from arriving, then delayed on gettin installed then headlights are wrong, and delayed another week or more.
