Flush USB Cigarette Adapter

Anyone ever manage to find a USB Adapter for the cigarette lighter near the cup holders that sits perfectly flush? or has a solution for that?

i bought one at the airport in LAX that was just short enough to have a usb cable plugged into it and still manage to have the cup holders in the most-forward location. unfortunately, the thing broke on me and have yet to find another.

I'll give the Aluratek one a try. I ordered a Scosche (http://www.scosche.com/usb-car-charger-dual-port) but unfortunately sticks out about a cm. With a USB cable plugged in you can't have the cup holders in the forward position.

Don't buy the flush ones, the electronics inside are crap they will break in a few weeks. My gf tried a 10 bucks one from Winners and also a 3 bucks one from the dollar store. Same crap.

There's another 12V inside the glovebox, why not run a quality adapter from there with a longer cable? I've seen the Sony OEM one for $9.99 at the Sony Store on clearance. The Samsung OEM one is like $20.

I use a Griffin PowerJolt Dual. Two ports at 1amp each, sits almost flush, you can't close the cap with it in place but it has to stick out otherwise you'd never get it out. Around 9 USD on Amazon US. Looks to be around 20 CAD on Amazon CA.

Why not just use sub port under the HVAC?
