Noise - popping/clack :( Annoying

Description of the noise:
It sounds like a bottle being popped or, its not a loud sound. Its monotone.
With the rear seats down, its louder…
When someone is sitting at the back and the passenger side read, they push their back towards the seat it make a popping noise and the popping noise is still there

The sound feels like its coming from everywhere, but I bet its something from the back.

I reviewed this thread and I don’t know if it is the similar problem or not. If it is, should I go to a Toyota dealer and ask them if the can grease the metal part welded on the chasis?? Or what?

What you're describing sounds like rear deck/trunk popping. If that's it, what's happening is that body pieces are shifting/flexing against each other near the welds and sticking, then popping loose. You can get it fixed under warranty if you take it back to your dealer, but there's also a DIY posted on this site that will work as well as what the dealer will do.

Here's a thread about the problem:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13451

Here's the DIY to fix it:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44636

Read through those and see if that looks like your problem. If that's not it, keep looking.

And a tip on searching this site: Ditch the built-in search, because it sucks. Instead, use Google and restrict the search to this site using the "site:" tag with this site's domain name. For example, this search:
site:ft86club.com deck popping
Gives you this:

site:ft86club.com deck popping

You can use that trick on any site by just inserting the appropriate domain name after the "site:" tag.
