Using Facebook with Scion BeSpoke?

The BeSpoke app on my phone allowed me to add Facebook friends, but when I launch the app in the BeSpoke head unit my Facebook username is the only one that shows up on the list. Anyone else having this problem?

I just tried the bespoke app with my brothers phone and I was disappointed. The Nav is laggy and it doesn't even update you where you need to make the next turn. You have to select the turn and then the nav talks. We tried his twitter and the voice to text isn't very accurate. Actually the voice recognition isn't good at all. We said "Show new messages". Bespoke though we said "Find Minsori" and couldn't find him lol. Maybe because I don't know him.

Also whats the point of selecting the Pandora icon if I then have to select Pandora on the phone....

So right now im just connecting via BT to my Galaxy S2. Using Google maps for navigation which updates turn by turn trough the speakers, listening to Pandora via BT, and who the hell wants to update FB and/or twitter when driving!

Now that the radio looks 1000X better then the stock unit ill give it that. But not worth the justification for me to go out and buy a iPhone. Ill just wait for a bespoke android app.

Ohh and the phone has to be connected via the jack....POS iPhones :P

I agree with everything that Cheddar just said.

On top of that, why connect via the cable when connecting via BT is so much more convenient. Also, the graphics on the screen are pretty cruddy. Also, I can't seem to locate ANYTHING with the voice commands. Trying to find Gresham Toyota pulled up grocery stores in Gresham Wisconsin three tries in a row. (sigh)

I like the look of the BeSpoke upgrade, but not sure if it was worth the price. Maybe if they upgrade the app down the road I will change my mind.

The app converts your friends' Facebook status updates into audio and reads them to you in realtime while you are driving. I don't think you can actually browse Facebook on the head unit.

That's certainly safer than what I'd been envisioning! Thanks for the info!
