SOSOSOS CRANK PULLEY AUTOMATIC HELP

How do I stop the crank shaft from spinning without holding the flywheel ?

What? I thought you said this was about the crank pulley. Did you just install the crank pulley? Did you botch the install?

Check the Installation Warning. Maybe you made the same mistake?

I used a cargo strap and rubber that I wraped around the pulley and anchored to the alternator, tension the strap so that the rubber provides friction so you can undo the bolt.
Else remove the starter motor and use the ring gear to hold the crank, note the pulley bolt is very tight to remove.

Why not do it the safe way and use a.crank pulley tool

This was a bitch to do. But you can use flywheel catcher thingy tool (or something strong enough and thick enough for the teeth) and do it that way. This will lock the teeth and you'll be able to (using a breaker bar 22mm socket) remove the crank pulley. Of course, loosen the belt tensioner and move Belt away.
I've only done this once and worked.
