OFT Launch Control Install

Just got my OFT, was curious how to implement LC with the E85 tune? I know it's done the OFM and have a good idea how to but I'm pretty new to this and would like some guidance, thanks!

Get Romraider and the XML File that goes with your car ECU.

Open Rom file with Romraider (Warning may come up where Checksum failed. That's fine just hit OK)

View > User level > 4 (This will allow you to edit the rom file)

Go to last folder that says Alpha FFS/ LC

Set Launch control RPM Delta (Car Max RPM - Your Input = Launch RPM)
Example: 7600 - 2000 = 5600 RPM for Launch Control

Save File

Open OFM

Upload file (You may or may not get warning about checksum, and it'll tell you it's going to correct it)

Yay done, retune your car, have fun

I am fairly certain it is already activated on the OTS tunes. With the car fully stopped press the accelerator down and the revs should bounce at about 5600rpm then drop the clutch and enjoy the hours of wheel spin you will have.

You're going to have to do some legwork of your own. The zip file for the OTS maps contains the XML files, but you need to look up the CAL ID on the OFT (or OFM IIRC) to see which xml file you need. Mine is xxx700C which is an EARLY north american ROM, but yours will be different depending on when you bought the car (and if the dealership has flashed a newer ROM or not) and where in the world you live.
