Project Mu 800HC+noise issue after heating up during DD
I am looking for a way to silence these pads. After driving for 10-15mins in CA temperatures, my pads start to squeal. But if I am at the track pushing hard, the brakes will not squeal. I am thinking of taking them out, clean the calipers, and remove any excess brake dust. I have read that high temperature break grease can help. If so where does this grease need to be applied? Anything else I can do. I have bed these breaks before.

grease between the pad, and the shims if you got them, if no shims, just grease the back of the pad where it makes contact with the caliper/pistons. a proper bedding in will silence them for awhile, but it always seems to come back with enough street driving.

What fluid are you running? I boiled my ATE super blue while trying to bed them properly. They make noise now except under hard braking. Im swapping fluid soon so hopefully it will be fine after that.

The HC800+'s are more of a hybrid pad than a dedicated track pad, they work plenty well when cold on the street.

What kind of pads were you using? That generally doesn't apply to modern compounds unless you're using a pad specifically designed for a small temperature range (e.g. NASCAR) or endurance racing.

I'm currently using these on the street and they squeal, lightly but they squeal and the dust is pretty bad, at least to me. I put them on a week before my track event and as mentioned even cold they bite hard, initial bite is easy and then just claws the rotor, modulation isn't easy. I don't recommend them for daily driving if you're conscious of dust or noise. These are all subjective observations.

I have the hc-cs which is the same compound i believe, i think pedal control is extremely linear. So far they seem to be pretty easy on my rotors too(dixcel).

Not sure about that, I press the pedal and they stab the rotor. I'll have to see at the track. Seem to be a good track pad though.

Dust is bad with any performance pad i suppose. How well did u bed them in? These are significantly harder to bed in than other pads ive had. (This is all assuming the hc-cs and 800hc are the same or very similar. 800hc is their pad for non jdm vehicles.)
