No Issue/Noise on BRZ European Models?

I ask myself the reason to why, here in Europe, we haven't some issues/troubles you get (USA or CAN) related to misfire, idle, injectors leak and so on...?
I know that ECU software isn't the same and here we have only 98 or 100 Octane Gas (in some country 95 basic). All cars are Euro 5 compliants (almost similar to California 2016 rules). Mostly of our BRZ are manual (automatic gear isn't loved by europeans)
My BRZ with 4.000,00 kms runs very well and none in Italy i.g. - OK here we have only #23 BRZ and #110 GT86 - claimed for issues or trouble related to engine.
So I assume that USDM and European models aren't the same! Even if anyone working by/for Subaru may explain this?

In Italy it's impossible to see an automatic gear on BRZ (none will buy a WRX STI AT ).... all people I know have the MT. In Italy AT isn't sold for BRZ.
We don't love Abarth500 with auto,too....MTs are more speeder.
No guys in Italian forum claimed for this kind of issue...but we have only 98 and 100 octane all people here use 100 Octane (Tamoil or V-Power), for us is a MUST.
Some circuit sell 102 Octane fit for tracks.

You find AT only near higher market segment, thus A5, A7, M3, M5, CLA and so on.
AT isn't in the italian car culture for common cars with the exception of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, BMW...but their AT aren't the VW gear or Subaru or Chrysler gear...
The example is that the AT BRZ is not commercialized in Italy.....if you want AT you must buy a GT86 (some of the AT GT86 are unsold now).

It's a market not so easy the italian one.

The European tune produces less power than what we have (200 bhp vs 197 bhp) but that's just an emissions thing, everything else is mechanically identical (at least where it counts) so I'm not sure what the point is. I would assume that there are "more" issues here because there are more cars here, almost 30k sold here so far.

maybe software? tomorrow I will identify my calibration...ID. But numbers of sold may be a good reason...statistics need wide numbers that we haven't here.

What are you trying to identify? Why there are fewer issues in Italy than North America?

It's purely a numbers thing, there are many more 86's on our continent than yours.

Best I can tell Fuji is aiming to produce 100,000 per year, that's 8,333 per month. We're getting a steady supply of about 2,500 per month so 1/3 86's sold end up on this continent with the rest distributed across the world. Factor in the language barrier and I don't think you need to look much further. There are plenty of owners in your continent who will never bother posting here (even though they may read here), you're on a bit of a goose chase in my opinion.

NO, it's only a doubt, I read with concern your posts and I believe in quality of Subaru i.g., but I don't explain me these issues. Maybe on 30k of sold cars these failures are quite good (we haven't these numbers). I was wondering about my BRZ that has any issue or trouble. I think immediately @ software or fuel.
So, before my BRZ, I had a 500 Abarth and no issues or trouble here in Europe since 2008 and in USA (now) I believe the same situation. If the cars are the same , maybe electronics may differ between the two market version.

Looks like oil consumption and leaks are rather prevalent, the only "common" issue on the 86 is the check engine light/cam sensor issue which has mostly been quelled as of a few months ago. Don't worry about it until it starts doing weird things. Enjoy the car and don't let people you scare you away from enjoying it.

!wow!!!!! It's incredible!!! none in Italy claims for oil consumption!!!
the turbo in USA is a Garrett 1446 (fits only on Alfa Romeo Mito, Grande Punto Abarth SS and some other in Italy and AT), but engine is the newest MultiAir that we don't have on 500A and don't love...(it's impossible to tune well and reaching higher power....90% of chance to break). This engine for 500 Abarth and Alfa Romeo Mito isn't a race/sport engine...very trouble for all tuners...the better is the same engine but not Multiair, the previous "T-jet 1.4 Turbo" can reach 215 HP with no trouble...mine sold 2 months ago with 65k Kms was a swiss jewel....
