10mm bolt broke

Hey guys,
So I was installing the Supertek hood damper kit and I was almost done when the 10mm bolt from the drivers side broke off. The threaded part is still inside the hole and the top half is in my hand. Any suggestions on how I can take it out? Thanks guys!

Drill a hole into the threaded part, then use an easy-out to back it out.

How did the bolt break? Those aren't torqued super tight, and they're pretty large bolts. Just a manufacturing defect?

No idea. I was tightening the bolt and it just snapped. I think I might of tighten it too much.

They are all sheer (think I spelled that right) bolts. They are supposed to break if stressed.

Just take a bolt from the other side and bring it to autozone and match it up
