I am wondering how hard is it to install halo led with led projectors and bake the housing black. I can either do it myself cheaper or go to a shop 4 hours away to do it for me for $450. If I mess up though, I will need new headlights

It's not hard if you're a professional or avid DIYer.

It's very hard if you're not.

I did it DIY. One head light has a cat hair in it, which only I ever notice because I did it, otherwise it turned out perfect. 450 I'd say is pretty fair given the amount of work. depends on how much your time is worth and whether you enjoy DIY projects. I do, so I DIY, if I didn't I'd pay to have it done.

Found out they can mail me a completed set and I just have to install. Is the wiring tricky for headlights or should i be fine?

If you can't do the mechanical part of this job (pulling headlights apart), don't try to do the electrical part of this job (wiring new accessories). You're gonna have a bad time.

I can probably take the headlights out after watching a few videos. Not sure if it will be plug and play or if I will have to mess with things. I will ask them over the phone though

If you're going to spend that much money on installing a halo on the stock headlights, might as well just spend the money on buying new aftermarket headlights.

I don't really like the other options besides spec-d. The only one i have seen with halos is spyder and those are close to $700 and are crappy quality. I really like the halos i have seen though

Seriously, if you don't already know that adding in non-standard lights to your vehicle will require additional wiring, this isn't the project for you.

I'm not trying to be mean or condescending. I'm trying to help you by not having you burn your car down due to electrical fire.
