Well, part of it is here.. (The rest has arrived!)
Got the shift knob I wanted. Just need the rest of the car to arrive so I can install it onto the knob.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (My Flickr Site) It's a WC Lathe Werks 2" copolymer sphere with two small grooves at the base for some tactile feedback. These are excellent shift knobs and this one is the 4th I've purchased. He will also do etching (gear pattern, or custom) and will do custom designs as well. I took some crappy installed pics. The sun was fighting me and my phone had trouble dealing with it. ![]() ![]() ![]() I love it. It really fits the interior more, IMO. And as with every WC knob I've bought, it feels great. Looks good! I'm more partial to the "teardrop" and GF4 style he has on his website.

Been looking at these shift knobs for years. Now that I'll have a nice car, I might get one for it!

I've never heard about that copolymer stuff. It looks cool.
I've always wanted a Ti knob, but I don't want to freeze in the cold or burn my hand in the heat. Hrmmm... |

I think Im just staying stock bling wise for a while. Although Im sure I will hate the tacky shift and brake boots.
Hopefully jpmcoachworks does something for those. |

I like the sphere because my hand travels from one side of the shifter to the other as I go through the gears and the simple sphere makes the transitions smoother and more comfortable no matter how I grip it. |

I definitely change the shift knob for comfort, not bling. But different people like different things.

The prices on the WC Lathe Werks website look much better than the ripoff ones at TWM.

I didnt even like my weighted twm knob on my STi. I switched it for a piston one from WC lathe works, which really grew on me.

LMAO it's so funny how we already have stuff for our cars and they aren't here yet. I ordered a license plate relocater, 6" variable speed polisher, wash mitts and polishes. All of these are in the mail. Oh and a sweet long lasting car freshener.
I'm thinking about the knob too but I want to see what my feelings are towards a new knob, short throw, shifter bushings after driving my BRZ for a couple thousand miles.

Right. Why am I going to change my shift knob for bling if it's under my hand. Also, I don't want anyone else riding in my car with me because the extra weight will affect the cars performance

I got a titanium (real from japan) shift knob on my 350Z roadster and damn I love it. Had it for about 2 years, just park in a garage and your hand will never burn up in the summer..lol!
