what is the quietest universal muffler out there? not looking for a sporty muffler i just want quiet. peformance doesnt matter. needs to be 2.75 or 3in inlet/outlet. when i search all i can find is sporty mufflers. least amount of sound . if its quieter than stock thats even better

So you just want it quieter than stock? Just weld in a universal muffler on the mid pipe. Effectively giving you 2 mufflers.

Definitely doubling up on mufflers would make it quieter. Might have too much restriction though.

why do you want it quieter than stock? stock is supper quiet to begin with. I dont think there are any quieter mufflers on the market than stock. if all you want is bigger exhaust tips get the JDM ones.

if for some reason you do want quieter than what you have now do like the others said and add another muffler or add a cat. either way you are restricting the exhaust a lot more and will likely loose some power.

Quietest one I know of and from tests I have seen is HKS Legamax Premium.

I have one its very quiet, but its not cheap, available in axleback or catback.

Exhaust splits to a y pipe on my aftermarket 2.75in exhaust. then it goes to 2 mufflers one on each side. im going to put a exhaust dump butterfly on one side and on the other im gonna replace the loud muffler with a quiet muffler so when the butterfly is closed the exhaust will only travel through the quiet muffler.
