There's no replacement for dusplacement

Well, I guess that old saying can now be considered completely debunked. 525 HP and 442 lbft from 2300 rpm to 6000 rpm from just 2.5L. If that truly is a production ready engine that is expected to live a long and fruitful life on just standard maintenance, you can color me impressed.

There is no replacement for displacement PERIOD. lol

You all wet because a 2.5l turbocharged inline 5 made those numbers?

Imagine if that inline 5 was a 2.7l.....

Audi with I5's are like Toyota's with I6's, can't be beat.

Nissan has the V6's, Ford and Chevy have the V8, etc etc

There's no replacement for displacement for epic idle sounds.

I would rather have those numbers in NA form from 8 cylinders.

and there is still no replacement for displacement..

It doesn't, it has to do with the exhaust piping (and intake piping) and the engine's configuration. The number of cylinders and valve train determines the sound, adding a ton more displacement barely changes the amplitude of the sound. Physics, learn it.

It's an Audi.

Nothing they've made is "production ready".

Audi, the only company that gives FIAT a good name.

Ever heard a 1.5 Liter motor that will make a big block V8 blush by the noise and could be heard from miles away?...here's one:
