There are a thousand variables, your age, driving record, discounts for family plans or employments and most importantly where and how much you drive. You're a lower risk driving in the middle of nowhere central valley California or Wisconsin than NY, LA, Atl etc.

You're going to get responses from $50/month to $400/month, just go get a quote from a bunch of companies and grab the best one (note I did not say cheapest, if you have a lien there are minimum requirements to satisfy the lending company).

If I had the exact same job as you, lived next door in an identical house, and bought our cars on the same day AND had the same insurance company...we could have vastly different prices.

If you're asking just out of curiosity, fine. If you're asking to get an idea for yourself, that's going to be mostly impossible.

Credit rating, education level, age, married/single, there are dozens of things that can alter your rate from another persons.

I pay $465 every six months ($77 mo) For my Si. I talked to my Progressive agent and an FRS would be $472 each six months ($78 mo). So it's about the same for either car.

No tickets or accidents at all in over 20 years.

Right, $116/month, like others have posted they could be your twin and have different rates, what you're getting isn't unreasonable for one car, it could certainly be lower or higher.

All you can do is cross shop and see who's spreadsheet cuts you a break.

Mine's right around 1000/6 month, but I'm 26, no accidents/no tickets, in Michigan (high insurance rate), and have not had auto insurance in over 4 years since the FR-S and my previous vehicle were provided by the company. This is still cheaper than my last evo (1200/6 months) that I had when I was 21. Not cheap, but not horrible. I imagine if I also insure my house through them, it should be more reasonable.

Wait till you start owning a house and raise your liability limits to maximum.

If you don't understand this, you don't deserve to be driving a car.

For what its worth, I'm 22 with master's degree, new driver, steady job, and I decided to try a quote for insuring a FRS under progressive.

$180/mo with no comprehensive or any coverage for myself/my car.

$1080 every 6 months for the first year under 21st Century. It went up $13 this year... Im 22 and under my parents insurance policy. If I had got my own policy it would've been $350/month!
