Help installing sub woofer

Anyone have experience with pulling out all the panels and front dash. I have an amp and sub I'm trying to install. I have the kit and wires. I just don't really trust myself taking apart the panels and anything electrical really. Lol.

Navi or non navi? The dash panels just pull off. Grip it like a basketball and pop it off. Or use a plastic spoon or something so you don't scratch it.

So you have the RCA harness for your stereo? If not you will need one of those speaker wires to RCA connectors. I don't think the navi head unit has RCA outputs. I could be wrong, but sandy's brz needed it.

Honestly I have no idea. I just got this kit and my friend said that's all I needed. Any insight on anything else I need would be helpful. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399414747.460968.jpg

Know where to get this speaker wire to RCA harness? I'm looking to add a sub also, but I know for a fact the brz nav unit's do not have RCA's.

Anyone have insight if this is only on the brz navi? Or is it also on the frs navi as well. I'm trying to find on google.

If you need them. But I think they have specific ones for your system if you look up the model number. You can also try the audio section in the general forum.

The scion bespoke website says the head unit has "six 2.4volt pre-amplified RCA outputs for front, rear, and sub-speakers..." forgive if I sound like a complete idiot but I am when it comes to this. Is this the RCA that I need?

Yup, that sounds like the one. Then the amp kit you have won't need anything extra.

Make sure to run power wire on one side and RCA wire on the opposite side.

JL w6. Gonna need dynamat to stop all that rattling. Good luck. It's going to sound nice.

Getting everything apart is really easy, you can use the OEM audio install guide to get an idea of the clips you need to watch for and where to run the wires.

If you watch the video above, you can the see the wire conversion kit they used. You might have to ask a shop and see if they sell something similar to that. Other option is buy an aftermarket deck with RCA pre-out.
