Taking off plastic front

Hey guys not sure if there's a diy on here but how , on the FRS , do u take off the plastic piece on the bumper by the radiator and also is there any harm in doing this?? I don't want nothing to break or crack

There are quite a few little spring loaded plastic "hooks" holding it onto the bumper cover. You might not break any by simply pushing it in. A better way would be to remove it when the bumper cover is off. Removing the bumper cover is super easy&quick process. Once the bumper cover is off, the grill can be easily removed without any chance of damage. Also it will be easier to work with if you decide to install any mesh etc with the bumper cover off.

I hit a tire scrap the other day that knocked in the grill. I probably wouldn't risk removing it.
It's held in like OjiGeorge mentioned.
