Clear plastic front/nose protection

I'm thinking about having a clear plastic front end/nose protector installed on my BRZ. I searched the forum and didn't see anything about this. Curious whether anyone has done this? What's the cost? Drawbacks/advantages?

I used to purchase black vinyl bras for all my previous cars but they're a hassle to put on and keep clean, etc.

Thanks.

I have the 3M clear bra installed on my car, it cost ~600 from a local Ohio shop. I got it 4 weeks after I got the car, 1 week after I got my first gash,.. the paint is very thin on this car.

Advantage: much higher strength than paint. ...will protect it for years....

Drawbacks: you can tell its there, from about 10 feet away... else it looks normal..

You're probably searching the wrong term. Try "clearbra" or "Xpel" and you should get more hits. I have Xpel Ultimate on my entire front end and have been very happy with it.
