Rear Facing Dashcam Install

I'm wondering if there's an elegant way to wire a dash cam facing towards the rear window.

One idea is to take a lead from the fuse box and wire it all the way back.

Is there anything in the trunk/rear seats that would be easier?

Where did you want to mount the camera, near the top or the bottom?

If you want it on the top, I suggest running power wires from the home link mirror connector right close to the interior light assembly. If you want it at the bottom, you can tap into the luggage compartment connector. I believe you need the orange wire but this one is always on. I can't find a line that's activated by the ignition in the rear.

For my front facing dash can I tapped power from an empty fuse slot. Ran that through the firewall where I removed the sound tube. This way the camera had power all the time, it has a voltage cut off. You could just run it up under the pillar and roof.
