Need to Know How to replace Back-Up Lights
Just purchased a new BRZ for my very significant other!
I granted my wife's wish to have brighter/safer back-up lights by purchasing some LED bulbs from Amazon. How do I replace the bulbs? Can anyone help me out- I don't want to damage the assembly. Thank you! |

You have to lay under the back of the car and find the housing. The LED's should be plug n play so you can just twist the socket that the bulb is in and plug the LED in and simply plug it back in. Just make sure the car has sat for a while as it is hard remove the socket without rubbing against the muffler.
Here is a pic of what it looks like: Hope this helps! |

it's small room to change it. wear long sleeves to protect your arms. otherwise you'll get some cut. also change it when car is off for a while because you might get burn from muffler

Use painter's tape on the bodywork and other bits to avoid scrapes. +1 about the muffler. I did mine while it was still hot and managed to not get burned. You just have to be really careful. I didn't jack up the car at all.
