is this an easy fix?
Someone decided to "TAP" my car when i was parked..
Not really noticeable from far, but hood/fender/bumper/headlight are all not aligned properly now. but yeah as you can see theres a big gap from fender to hood, fender to bumper, and right headlight beam is pointing a little down now ![]() there's also that little (bulge/bump/lump) whatever you call it) on the fender, maybe due to the force of getting hit.. is this an easy fix?? can anyone help me? any advice on how i can fix? or a cheap alternative to get it fixed? or affordable shop? |

ouch. Do you not have insurance, or just don't want to file a claim? I would take it to a body shop and ask them if there is a cheap recommended fix. Tell them you don't want to file a claim and see what they suggest. It might just be a few minutes of their time to "pop" things back into place and a little touch up paint to get it 80% good, as opposed to the usual hundreds of dollars to perfectly repair any little hit these days. I'm no adjuster or body repair guy but I could totally imagine the possibility they'll say you need a whole new bumper or something else crazy if you actually let insurance pay for it.

![]() But yeah, I'll probably go and find a body shop and see what they say. Hopefully it's just a little pop here and there to get them back into places. |

The bumper is easily mis aligned (i have it from scraping a driveway hard). I would say you can prob just pull the side off and realign and should be ok.

I'd say you wouldn't really know the extent of the damage until you take them apart.... It could be as simple as a slightly bent bracket to bent frame. If I were you, I'd take the bumper out to see what's really under it.
Good luck. I hope it really isn't anything major. |
