Easy to Do Mods

So a twin suby drove past me today and gave me the "whats up bro" look.

Love the community lol

anyway

what are some easy to do mods?

I'm seeing Opticoat here for cheap.

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Optimum-Opti-Coat-2-0-20-CC/dp/B008HHOMSY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1356105295&sr=8-1&keywords=opticoat"]Amazon.com: Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 - 20 CC: Automotive[/ame]

is it easy to apply?

Easy mods:
  • Beat Sonic Shark fin antenna
  • JDM clear side markers
  • cat back/axle back exhaust (only need hand tools and some way to elevate your car a little bit
  • panel air filter (K&N, Perrin, HKS)
  • AVO intake tube
  • tinting taillights (LIGHT COATS lol)
  • JDM exhaust tips (or something similar, look up the black exhaust tips thread)
  • master cylinder brace
  • plasti-dip your wheels in some cool color (it's easily removable)
Hope this helps, the "easy" is a loosely defined word haha. Good luck!

Most mods on this car are pretty easy to get around... I was really surprised how easy installing coilovers on this car was.

Good write up on it:

It really seems like something that should be done by a professional...Personally I'm clay bar-ing and waxing my car today (heated garage ftw) and I really don't feel like the opticoat adds much more protection than frequent waxing. Waxing is a complete joy to me

And right after this put in a master cylinder brace to finish up the pedal feel adjustment package

Steve, this is a very broad question. It depends entirely on A. what you want to do to the car, and your automotive mechanical skill.

Have you ever worked on cars before? Do you have access to tools and a space to work on your car? What will you be using the car for? What do you want out of modifying the car? These are all questions you need to answer.

Otherwise I'm gonna say "put some stickers on it and a new air freshener and call it a day" because I don't know A. what you want to do with the car and B. how adept you are at working on cars. Most of the mods listed above are easy, if you know what you're doing.
