tpms bypass?

Is it possible to bypass tpms by building a pvc pipe canister like I've seen on other forums. I did searching on here but couldn't find a definitive answer. Some say the sensors have to be in motion. Any answers would be great.

Sensors don't have to be in motion, just seeing enough pressure and within range of the car.

The range is actually pretty far, my summers are in my basement (with the sensors in them) but if I let the car warm up in the garage it picks up the sensors most days. They're a good 25 feet straight line (plus going through concrete) from the car.

Don't need to be in motion, mine sat stacked in my garage and my light never came on for months until I sold the oem tires.
