I daily drove and autocrossed on the RCE yellows for a year and loved them. They didn't slam the car, just improved the performance and gave it a bit of drop. Ended up upgrading to the RCE T2s which are also very nice.

Those springs really aren't the same at all. The RCE yellows are what really should have been on the car stock. Track oriented and barely lower, like .8". The RSR Superdowns are what I use and are alot stiffer than stock. With 18s, I need to brake for alot of serious dips into the road if I don't want my head to hit the roof or my spine to whimper in pain. On a nice road, the RSRs are nice, but they are what any low drop (1.2-1.4") of springs on stock shocks give you, a very stiff ride sacrificed for looks and handling. If you've ever been in a lowered car before then you've got nothing to fear.
Supposedly Swifts are the best all arounded, they just cost more Last edited by BlueDubbinTDI; 02-02-2014 at 10:31 AM. |

I've been on Swifts (FR-S model) half a year, no complaints, they really check all the boxes

For me, I'm looking to get some Hotchkis springs. 1" drop and work with the stock shocks. Should be a hassle free setup and are also one of the lowest priced on the market.
