Is this normal? Picture attached

I was looking in the engine bay. I noticed an area on the left side of the engine(not the block) there was this area that looked chipped/cracked. I can't tell if its normal or not.

That looks like the cover over the port injectors. Even if it is cracked, it's not a big deal...it's just a cover. I'll check mine tomorrow to see if it looks the same for me.

No crack. The weld bead isn't the entire length of the seam.
