Brake Air Ducts
I will like to add brake duct, to my APR Carbon Ducts... but I dont want to pay $300 for them I am waiting for someone to do a plate for the brake sheapper than that, $300 is just too much for a hose and a Plate mount... is there any cheap plate...

You could buy a full kit for nearly the same price as those ducts: http://www.tf-works.com/tf-brake-duc...-s-subaru-brz/ |

One could argue that $360 retail for just the APR CF bumper ducts is too much. They also create more openings in the front bumper which will add more drag at speed. The @Touge Factory kit is not just hose and backing plates. It's a full kit including custom fit bumper ducts and all the hardware needed (clamps, couplers, washer tank spacers, zip ties, loctite). The TF rotor backing plates are hand made and welded from aluminum, and they direct air to the center of the rotors and through the vanes, which is optimal for cooling. The APR backing plates direct air at the face of the rotors, which is less effective at cooling the rotors. The hoses included in the TF kit are high temp rated silicone which is expensive. Lots of time went into the development of the kit. They actually went with the current setup after testing ducts in the fog light location and determining that there isn't enough room back there to run the hoses, especially on the driver's side. The TF kit is actually a good deal, all things considered. Quote:
To run hoses from your APR bumper ducts you'll at least have to remove/replace your washer fluid tank with something much smaller, and you may even have to cut out a big section of your wheel well liners. Not saying it's impossible, but it's definitely more work. With the TF kit you keep the stock washer tank and you only have to trim a little section of the wheel well liner and they provide detailed instructions for the whole install.

No, everything can be installed underneath the car with the undertray and skid plate removed.

Will the driver side ducting fit around Perrin oil cooler lines? It looks like it will but I would like to be sure.

Yes. I'm running both without issues. Check out my build thread for pics.

Thanks for the quick reply. I hadn't looked at your build until now but ours are eerily similar. Maybe I'll start my own build thread and just have 1 post... "See ATL BRZ build (excpet in white)" Off topic, and you can PM the reply rather than thread jack this one, but how do you like your lip/diffuser? What effects did you notice?
