Thud putting in gear?
Hopefully I'm asking this question in the correct section if not mod pls feel free to relocate.
I was wondering if its normal to hear/feel a thud when putting the car in gear from a full stop. It's been a long time since I've owned a manual transmission and don't recall if this was typical. |

If you push the clutch in and immediately put it into first it will clunk. If you clutch in and wait an extra 2 seconds it won't clunk. It's normal.
