Autocross event in southern OR this past weekend.
This past weekend we had out September event and had 4 86s with 5 drivers.
The top 5 cars in the class were within less than 2 seconds of each other and we all have different mods done. This was my friend with the silver FR-Ss first autocross ever and he did quit well. I convinced him to take off his body kit and come race with us. Good thing he did because during practice on Saturday he got a little sideways and the front of the car ended up in the grass and would have done some damage to the body kit. Mine is the second from the right. ![]() The score board: ![]() Here's a video of my first attempt at the course (epic fail): [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMx18nilddQ"]20130915 120123 - YouTube[/ame] Second attempt: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shhUAVPz6nk"]20130915 122748 - YouTube[/ame] My 4th and final attempt was my faster and the third fastest in the class.

Ha, happens more ten u think. Even pros spin out some times. All it takes is just a slight bit to much correction and not enough rebound.
I always try to practice using just enough counter steer then straighten out. It's really easy though to over correct and it's strike 1-2-3 spin out lol. Especially on a course that's new to you or the car.

Ha, I'm sure. In the video a guy in the background was saying that's a trickey corner. Hell at PIR on the 6th I watched a few cars go off including a race ready Porsche. Congrats on third in your class though.
