Best TN/NC mountain roads?
Hey guys, got a family trip to Disneyworld at the end of the month. While everyone else is flying, I'm leaving a few days early and driving down in the FR-S (from Ohio). I'll be heading down to Robbinsville the first day and staying overnight. I've alotted the second full day to driving around the mountains in TN/NC. Looking for suggestions on what to hit and what to skip. The plan for now is to run the Tail of the Dragon/Cherahala Skyway loop and possibly Moonshiner 28. I'll end up at a relatives in Asheville that night then continue to Florida the following day. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Don't forget hellbender on the way to fontana from deal's gap. That's a great road.
Not sure which roads exactly (don't have a map in front of me) but the drive from Deal's gap to Bridal Veil Falls and to the Highlands is pretty good as well. |

NC80 - The Devil's Whip
https://www.thedevilnc80.com/ Just keep in mind, there's still a chance of running into a slow tractor trailer on these mountain roads, so be careful. http://tailofthedragon.com/dragon_trucks.html |

Thanks for the roads everyone. This is my rough route edit. Feel free to add some spots on the way. Hungry Mother State Park looks like some good roads.
