Question Considering this as another option 2011 WRX

I have been keeping up with the BRZ for quite a while, but depending on when dealers get them in, I might be out of luck with getting it due to planning on getting a new vehicle before making my trip to my next duty station. I have been searching local dealers and came across this WRX pretty decent price IMO but the thing that throws me off is the whole Tuned by STI decal above the shifter, though it is a standard Sedan. My question is is it possible to have a WRX tuned by STI without going the WRX STI package? Here is a link to the dealer site with the pictures of the Tuned by STI plaque but showing it is a regular WRX sedan..

There is no Tuned by STI model for the USDM. The WRX STI is a trim level, not a package.

Based off of truecar.com, you should be able to get a new WRX for similar price as that used WRX.

thanks for all the replies, and the whole trying to fool those who do not know is what I was thinking as well, just wanted to be sure that you could not take a WRX and have it tuned by the factory other than if you indeed buy the STI trim model. I will keep looking as my time here in afghanistan draws to a end this month.
