New Here (Navigation Option Question?)
I am new and have a question that no dealer can answer for me.
See, I have seen in all of the interior photos of the Subie BRZ that Navi will be an option. And up until the new C&D issue I had only seen the Scion FR-S with the plain Pioneer Radio system w/o Nav, but in the newest interior photo where C&D magazine compared both cars and showed us both interiors next too eachother I noticed the FR-S had a Navigation system similiar to the BRZ and other Scion accessory nav systems from the dealer. Will the FR-S have a Nav option from the factory of from a Scion dealer Parts accessory catalog from the Parts Department? Thanks!

probably a parts accessory. Isn't that how scion has handled all their radio options in the past?

I have to be honest I am not sure, as I have never purchased a Scion before. I am a Toyota guy. I just really want a FR-S over a BRZ, but nav is a must for me and I really hate doing aftermarket radios.

Scion will have their BeSpoke system as an option with Nav and whatnot.

Will it be a factory option or a dealer accessory option like other Scions?

But Nav will definetely be available as a dealer item? The only reason I ask is b/c if it is not than I may have to rely on the BRZ which I really don't prefer! Thanks!

being that the usdm pre production cars that have had stereos, have had the same base head unit as the rest of the scion line, yes. you can buy a scion nav system if it does not already include it with the app radio setup.

The premium audio system for the Scion is the Pioneer BeSpoke system. It's going to have integrated social media features, internet radio and navi by piggybacking off the iPhone.

According to Scion it is not yet known if the Bespoke will be standard or optional. They have not decided yet.
The bespoke is featured in the upcoming FR-S commercial... |
