Bluetooth pairing every time I get in the car (brz) (SOLVED)

How do I fix this issue:

I thought I had paired my phone for both voice and multimedia via Bluetooth. However every time I get Ipin the car it asks me to pair and it seems like my phone is given a new pin in a dialog box when it connects.

I have a brz with the older software version and a Motorola atrix hd.

Thanks.

EDIT:
SOLVED
Solved!

Apparently there is truth to the idea that this is a motorola bluetooth issue.

I updated to the HoloBlur community cooked ROM and everything worked wonderfully this morning. Synced once. Turned off bluetooth on the phone and turned off the car. Turned bluetooth on on the phone, turned the car on and boom music without a prompt.

FWIW the atrix hd uses 4.0.4 stock/latest rom/probably the last one moto will give out for the phone.
The HoloBlur ROM uses 4.1.2

Mine did this too. Software update should fix it. It also might be your phone. I got the software and upgraded my phone at the same time.

Software upgrade for what, the car? Where would that come from? Last time I was in mine the phone connected when I went out and drove for a while and after I got out and came back it would not connect no matter what I tried.

I have the older software version, but kind of want to keep it to allow for the vss bypass. (if you update it will start using gps which is something you cant really bypass).

I found a few "magic" preceedures on the android forums. I'll post once I find one that works,

Here is the fix (sort of): https://forums.motorola.com/posts/42...=708567#708567

The caveat is that it only works if you leave bt on on the phone. If you turn it off and on again it slps back into asking if you want to pair every time.

Might try a non stock Rom on the phone to see if it changes the behavior.

Also this renaming stuff might screw with audio streaming. I found it stuttered until I disconnected and reconnected.

Another update.
Noticed that today it autoconnects, gives stuttery/crap audio, then reconnects and sounds good. It does this every time.
