Anyone spray their front splash shield?

I was thinking of getting some matte-black hi-temp spray and coating mine. I think it would match the rest of the under body and with the hood open it would be subtle and highlight the engine more...thoughts?

To be clear I'm talking about the shield on the left:

I always called that the skid plate.

I'd prefer mine to be uncoated because if it were painted black it would be much more difficult to spot fluid accumulation should you ever have a leak.

Yeah you're right on the terminology, was struggling for the name earlier.

I remove mine like once a week
