Clicking noise in engine bay

Hey guys,

I've been hearing this clicking noise a lot lately. I've had my car for over a year and I've never heard this noise before. I've included a link to the video:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_4_gZIphzw"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_4_gZIphzw[/ame]:

Seems like the noise is coming from the area around the oil filter. Do you guys know if this is normal? I just recently changed the engine oil and filter. Thanks in advance!

It's normal. The direct injection pump can be quite noisy. It is located under that sheet metal plate behind the oil filter. I find the noise increases as the temperatures outside get hotter.

Very normal! Nothing to be concerned with, nice and healthy sounding!

out of curiosity, how often do you listen to the car. From day one it sounds like this.

I listen to it every time I drive it haha. I knew that the clicking noise comes from DI but couple days ago it got unusually loud. I drove it again today and the noise level went back to normal
