What 18 and 19 in tire sizes will not mess with odometer

Im looking to upgrade my wheels what tire sizes will keep the same ratio as the stock so the odpmeter and speedometer remain okay? Im looking at the konig illuisions wheels or the liquidmetal curve wheels?

Thanks for the help

245/35/18 is balanced for the odometer. Not sure about 19.

I can't imagine that a 19" tire is going to be able to match very well to the stock wheel/tire circumference. As Matt says - a XXX/35/18 is a VERY close match ... I run a 255/35/18 and its almost dead on with the speedometer.

A 19 inch wheel and tire is going to run into an issue with the second number in the XXX/XX/XX equation if you have wide wheels. You would have to have some narrow wheels to run a xxx/35/19 tire ... otherwise you have to look at something like a xxx/30/19 tire which will start to give you ride quality issues in my opinion.

All this being said ... does 3% difference really matter to you? If you know its only 3mph off at 100 mph ... does that really cause a problem?

The tire circumference would be just a bit larger than stock (on average - tires differ in size) but it is very close.

Are you on stock suspension? You are going with a wider wheel, so you will need to watch out for the wheels or tires being too close to the stock springs/strut and rubbing in the front and back.

I believe those wheels have a +40 offset, so that will help out with the wider wheels rubbing against the stock strut/spring ... but you are going to be near the fender in the front, so you would need to put in some negative camber. I *think* you would be alright, but you may need to invest in some camber bolts for the front if you cant get enough camber from the stock equipment.

This is my opinion ... not scientific fact ...
