high ride height after shock install?

I've got only a few miles on the car after installing koni yellow dampers, the car clearly looks higher....mostly the rear. Is this normal?

Anyone? Is the rear perch adjustable on these? The perch sits about 2 inches higher from the bottom of the shock in the rear compared to the stock shock.

I have the Koni Yellow shocks and RCE Yellow springs. I see the same issue. Looks like my ass is sticking up a little. The only thing I can think of is the spot the rear has for the springs to sit must be a little higher. I noticed the springs were pretty tough to get on like they may have sat higher.

If someone knows more I would also like some answers.

Regardless I'm more of a function > form guy so it doesn't bug me. Sort of looks like a drag racer this way.

Are you sure you don't have the perch upside down? I have the Koni yellows and am about the same height as stock. Relatively no change in ride height.

They are supposed to point up not down as that was where the lip was to catch the spring, same as OEM perch did. If I flip them down then I don't think the spring would catch that lip. Anyone have pics on what it should look like? Until then I'll see if I can find some. I will also look at my fronts as they were installed by a shop since they were inserts and I did the rear myself.

Looks like that's my issue as well as I just looked at it. Damn it. It is a lot of work just to flip a spring seat and I don't have spring compressors. Guess I'll have a shop do it next time I take my car in.

I just did rear springs on my BRZ, no compressors needed. With the spring seat upside down you will have a minimal amount of pressure when you unbolt the top nut (not a dangerous amount). Flip the spring seat over and it will all go together with no compressor. BRZ springs need about 1/4" compression to get the top nut started, FRS springs need nothing.

The picture in the little guide provided with the dampers has the spring seat upside down; that has been noted on other forums before.
