Has any seen or heard about someone running the 2.87" pully on pump gas? I'm not looking for wow numbers I'm looking to see if its safe at all.

From what I've heard, anything above 12 is kinda bad news on such high compression motor that we have. Now there are things you can do in order to run a smaller pulley and benefit from the torque while maintaining boost way under 12.

Not anymore. There are a few guys on here running 12-14 psi on 93 pump gas with their turbo kits.

I'm looking more for someone with a vortech, I'm not running 12.5 psi for pump gas, I'm running it for E85, but incase e85 isn't around I was making sure I could still run pump.

I know it's another system but have you considered WMI for those times you have 93?

If your worried about pump you could get meth? Just run meth when your on 93 and dont use it when your on 93. A bit of hassle and cost to buy and install but the gains could be worth it?

I'd rather run an EBC then meth, never runs out and adds .1 lbs

You should talk with Visconti. We were running 300+whp last week on 93 octane on a stock engine. Our setup is pretty badass and works great.

A: is it a vortech
B: what psi

Once again I'm not worried about the numbers I just want it to be safe for those times I'm not running E85

And I don't think visconti and I are on the best terms ATM.

Might as well try: @Visconti

Our soon to be released WMI system will likely enable you to tune for true MBT or very very close to it at 12.5 psi. The extra timing that you can run will likely amount to quite a bit more power than you can get tuning for knock on 93 pump gas alone.

Since your centrifugal SC builds boost with rpms, you'll likely go for quite a long time between WM refills if you're not constantly revving out the engine. Just an option to consider. :happy0180:
