I twisted off this screw yesterday, cuz I did not check the manual and used 40f/p to twist it. I did not realize it is M8 and thought that it was as big as those on the shock。
I was thinking to drill it out and get a new one from Home Depot. However there is no space on the back side to allow me put in a new screw. Any one can help me? I knew I could drive without this screw, or even without these two OEM bars. But does this screw affect a lot if I just let it like this? BTW, I may go to track in the future and do not want this screw affects the balance of this car. Thank you so much。

That bolt seems attached to the inner fender and not to any suspension components. There are three other bolts holding that bar on so you should be okay temporarily but I would try and find a fix if possible.

I am thinking to order a factory crew, but just could not find it. and also there is no space on the back to put a new screw in, even if I drill the bad one out.

Being that the torque spec is like 12 ft lb, that's barely hand tight. Yea I've seen others take that off.
