Will a 17x8.5 +15 fit?

I am looking at some eBay specials and trying to figure out if they will fit. I am pretty sure they will. I am going to continue to use the stock tires for now. I also am getting my coilovers this week so it will be lowered as well.
Anyway I want to pull the trigger but just want to confirm.

Depends on what look youre going for. It's going to poke, will need lots of camber if you're going lower.

Well I have looked at quite a few wheels that are 17x9 +30 and there of course is a little poke there. By my estimates I am adding about 3mm offset which is practically nothing.
I am going for a nice old school JDM look
