Bass Rattles Driver Side Window Switches....

Ok I have been hearing this annoying little buzz every time my bass hits. This is not only when the radio is up loud just if the right frequency hits you hear a buzz coming from the drivers door.

After much holding and pushing on the door to find the source I finally put a little pressure on the window switches and bang no buzz.

Does this happen to anyone else car?

If mine was door panel I could probably take the door apart and fix it in a jiff. Since mine is the switches it makes it a pain to fix.

This happened in my tc all the time when I had it. I just put some thin foam in between the plastic contact points between the switch panel and the door panel.

I put dynamat in my door panels and went so far as to take the switches that you are talking about and wrap them in dynamat as well. Got rid of all my rattles and the stock speakers actually sound surprisingly decent at high volume.

Yes it happens on my car, I've found ways to alleviate it a lot by lowering my source volume control, either by turning down the volume on my bluetooth device and then cranking the radio 100%, or by changing the brz's radio SVC (source volume control) to -10dB. This allows for much higher clean headroom and your bass and treble wont distort, at the cost of some loudness.

That is why it is killing me, I am the same way.

I also hear the window it self buzz when it crack it like an inch or 2. 3/4 down no problem anything inbetween I hear a little rattle.

Unless I have my knee pressed against the door where the speaker is... at certain parts of a song I hear this annoying noise being described as well.

It's where the window switches clip into a second piece that screws to the main panel. I just used 4 small pieces of dynamat to hold it. If you take the door apart you'll see what I mean. It's not too hard and makes a huge difference.
