CA emissions ECU flash recall?
got the oil changed for the 1st time on my 6000 mile FRS that I bought last June. Service adviser said there is a recall for "CA emissions reflash of ECU"
I decided to wait to do it until I found out more from the forums about it, mostly since my car runs excellent and gets incredible mileage. So what does it really mean? |

http://jalopnik.com/5948647/heres-ho...s-idle-problem It seems to be there to fix the idle fluctuation, there may be a connection with smog emissions but in terms of driveability and performance there's no drawbacks, I don't think anyone here has bothered to delve into the effects on emissions. All of the ones coming out of the factory will have this flash on them as well. |
