**IMPORTANT ISSUE****READ THIS****NEED YOUR HELP**

**IMPORTANT****READ THIS****NEED YOUR HELP**

I am owner of a 2013 BRZ. I am experiencing many problems.
Here are all my problems:

Those are the problems that my dealer Subaru managed to solve up to date:

-Dash Mounted speaker grille appearance (Subaru first fixed it and after a couple of weeks they changed it)(problem solved)

-I had a complete ECU breakdown. (Subaru first changed the entire ECU. The same problem came back. They refreshed the ECU this time). After they refresh, the problem came back again. Two or three more refresh and settings were done after this because I have experience to much idle issues. I have experienced some RPM fluctuation. The engine itself was not running right at all.

-Engine codes P0019 and P0017 like many of us.

Those are the issues that my dealer Subaru is not able to solve. In some cases they actually don’t even want to take a look at it because my car went to the garage too often in the pact months. They are only telling me to wait.

-Major window issue. They changed the complete window system 3 times. They did about a dozen of reconfiguration and reprogram. Nothing worked. (My dealer is almost telling me that they don’t want to deal with this issue and to wait a couple of months to see).

-I have some major claking/popping/cracking issues from the back area of the car. Even tough the TBS (12-140-12) from Subaru was done and another one that I can’t remember. I believe it is not only the trunk of back shelf area. It might go up to the passage side as well. This problem is not solved yet and they actually don’t know were to go with it.

-I had a temperature issue also. The car was nothing taking is own temperature correctly. Many signals appeared in the radio. My dealer has absolutely no idea where this comes from. They removed the entire dash console with the radio and send it to the manufacture itself for a week I believe. They received it back and the manufacturer of the radio told them that they are not aware of this problem and that they have no idea what might cause this issue. They reinstalled a brand new radio and center console in the car. I didn’t have any temperature problems up to date. But since they played around in the front dash I have experienced many cracking and popping sound coming from the dash. I went to test drive the car with them, they noticed were well the sound but they are not able to locate it and to fix it. Therefore once again they told my to go back come and wait. (I believe they are tired to see my car will all those issues and problems that they are not able to solve).

Okay so up to date those are the problems of my Subaru BRZ 2013.
Now following those issues, I was definitively very tired to wait after them so I went to talk with Subaru Canada (Yes I live in Canada…but keep reading!) with the representing and headquarter people. At first they understood my problems and everything but after a while they didn’t care at all with me. I am only representing one car for them so. From then Subaru didn’t give me any services anymore. I actually went to talk to the high placed Subaru people in car chows down here and they just threw me off. I went into long discussion and serious talk with them and now we are at this point were I really need your help guys.

**NEED YOUR HELP ON THIS PART**

We are actually going in from of the judge with all those problems.

I NEED PROOF THAT SUBARU WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM BEFORE SELING ME THE CAR.

IS THERE ANYONE WHO AS A WORK ORDER FROM THEY DEALER SUBARU OF SOME REPORTED ISSUES BEFORE SEPTEMBER 22TH 2012 (since I bought the car on this date)??? ANY KIND OF ISSUES. WORK ORDER STATING THAT YES YOU REPORTED AN ISSUE TO YOUR DEALER AND THAT THEY DID OR DID NOT DO ON YOUR CAR TO SOLVE IT.

IF YES IT WOULD HELP ME SO MUCH IF YOU COULD SEND A COPY TO ME OR PICTURE OF THE PAPER BY PRIVATE MESSAGE, OR MAYBE POST THEM HERE IT MIGHT HELP SOME OTHER PEOPLE AS WELL.

THANKS A LOT TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR PRECIOUS HELP.

Negotiate a buyback or consult an attorney if Subaru isn't willing to play ball...your car is either a heap put together by drunk, retarded assemblymen at the Subaru plant or your dealership techs are utterly incompetent.

His profile below his name says he lives in us.

I wonder if the reason they are suggesting he wait is to lengthen the timeframe in an attempt to put him out of the Lemon Law?

Take the car to another dealership. There is nothing stopping you from doing that. I'm sure they would be happy to point out any botched work done by the previous dealership.

Um, the date on the subaru TSB for the engine codes is dated 8/21/12, so they knew before you bought it.

Also, you bought it on my birthday.

Finally... Sorry to hear that, man. It seems the QC on these cars was a bit dodgy for a while

Yeah I know, I already have this one in hand and it will definitively go in the court document. But you know with them you need more then only one proof, That is why I wanted maybe to have some work orders from other guys that actually prove the fact that they were aware of this. But you are absolutely right, they new it a while before to produce a TSB

An official TSB is pretty much all the proof you need that Subaru was aware of the issue. Not sure why that wouldn't be good enough.

It is not the first case where a customer is not happy with the car since there are many problems. The first line car when the car is release usually had some minor problems, I didn't knew it was that much. I had the same problem with a new released Infiniti car back in 2004 and they asked for good solid proofs. After that everything was fine since I prove them that they didn't notice me of the hidden problems present in the car when I bought it. I just want some additional proof in conclusion, show to show them that the dealer must advise the customer of the real problems known of the car when the customer asks it there is any.

I think lemon laws are state law, so, what state are you in?

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects all 'mericans from any mechanical failures. Got an attorney? See 15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.
