Inlet pipes, any measureable differences between AVO and Perrin?

I'm looking into intake options and can't really decide between AVO and Perrin. Is there any real differences between the two in power output? Comparing dynos seem to be pretty similar, but how about in the real world? I think my decision is coming down to whether I want to keep the sound generator or not.

For the sound generator, is there any measurable difference if the port for it is plugged up on an inlet tube that has the port vs a tube without it at all. Does the AVO sound generator tube do anything but clean up the look of the tube?

The Perrin has a wider bend, so in theory, should flow slightly better. In practice any difference is probably too small too show on a dyno. The sound generator shouldn't make any difference except to sound, that being personal preference. Perrin's own dyno doesn't show any notable gains, but it does smooth out a couple small dips. I have the Perrin inlet. Looks nice and cleans up the engine bay nicely. I don't know what it does to sound because I installed the CAI at the same time.

I went with Perrin because their service and products have been excellent. The tube really opens up the engine bay and the engineering is evidently superior to the OEM setup with the sound tube.
